umar oh umar!

Starting Monday ( yesterday), my new routine (until this coming Saturday)is like this: Have both of them in the car. First drop Hafiz at the nursery,
Next, head for Az-Zahra, go to the paediatric ward at level 2, and get Umar ready for his jap. Well, at least the ‘line’ was prepared/inserted since last Sunday, and today is already his 3rd day of visiting the ward. The moment they prick the back of his palm, he cried, only after the paed was about to withdraw the needle, leaving the tube attach to the back of his palm. Pity him. As much as he wanted to hold himself from crying ( he was closing his eyes, lips tight, only muttered ‘eh, hh,hh) , he let out the cry finally. Mesti dah sakit sangat tu.
Even the paed said: eh, dah sudah cucuk baru menangis, ya”. Well, that’s Umar. He hardly complains of pain, even when his ankle was swollen from bugs bites ( our guess),
or when one of his fingers had a cut, or even now when the eczema got the better of him, and started becoming worse. It’s just now that the seborrhoeic eczema appears ( on his head), and since all the anti-biotic and topical creams didn’t work, we resort to the 7 days injection. InsyaAllah, things will get better, and hopefully he’ll be able to greet his Ayah with no itch :-) at all! As for now, his only complaint? ‘GATAL’!

tu tak pe gak. tunggu kalau kena scabies. tajuk sendiri tu. hope your SIL is doing OK. somehow, not even knowing her personally, but i think a lot of her. may allah bless her, and all her family, with strength in this "painful" period.
